Missions
Your Role
In collaboration with the project manager and the software architect, you define the boundaries of the GNSS simulator hardware.
You set up and maintain the hardware development environment.
You define a suited hardware architecture that is both efficient and fast. You apply a modular approach to the VHDL code generation.
You generate the required test vectors and test the solution in collaboration with the GNSS simulator development team. In this team, you also test the integrated hardware / software.
You maintain a rigorous configuration control of the VHDL code and the applied tests.
Your responsibilities will include
· In collaboration with the project manager and the software architect, you translate system requirements into specific hardware requirements
· You aim for a long-term testable, scalable and extendable solution
· You define a hardware architecture according to a modular approach; define building blocks and the interfaces between them.
· You set-up an environment for configured hardware development and test and maintain it thoroughly
· You design and test the hardware building blocks
· You perform integrated tests in collaboration with the GNSS simulator design team
Profile
· Experience with Digital Signal Processing and SW/ HW embedded systems
· Able to define a hardware architecture, hardware building blocks and their interfaces
· Able to write coherent C / VHDL code to implement digital signal processing according to predefined algorithms
· Able to generate test scenarios and the according test vectors
· Able to perform VHDL testing and integration testing with software building blocks, in collaboration with a software architect / designer. Implement proper hardware / software version management
