Missions
The main tasks for this position are to ensure that the establishment is supplied with the best value for money and to manage the hotel's inventory while controlling costs.
Economat
Supervise the reception, inspection, and storage of products (quality, quantity, compliance with HACCP rules)
Monitor stock levels, identify procurement needs, and alert department heads when necessary
Ensure that orders comply with the established price lists
Inform suppliers and department heads of any discrepancies (delivery, pricing, product) observed
Welcome sales representatives and maintain supplier relations in order to develop partnerships
Research innovative products suited to the establishment
Communicate product and supplier information to the Group Purchasing Department
Cost Control
Enter delivery notes and invoices into the stock management software
Check the establishment’s invoices and monitor payments in direct coordination with accounting
Analyze and control the sales/losses/complimentary items of the establishment’s products
Monitor departmental expenses within the hotel
Assist department heads in setting product pricing for the hotel
Record and analyze inventories together with department heads
Prepare monthly dashboards
Manage the hotel’s stock while controlling costs
Actively participate in the implementation of the CSR policy

Ability to collect, process, and communicate information both orally and in writing
Fluent in German and English
Computer proficiency: Excel, stock management software
Time and priority management
Cost calculation and statistical analysis
