Mission

ABOUT THE JOB

As part of FDI GmbH, our freshly created German subsidiary, and to continue the expansion of its activities, we are recruiting for a dynamic and result-driven Business Developer (M/F) specialized in Security & building access in Germany.

Contract : Permanent

Your main mission is to develop the German card reader market.

You will support FDI’s success by :

Acquiring new clients specializing in security-related technologies: access control and badge card readers

  • Manage the sales process as the client's main contact,

  • Identification of contact persons and decision-makers involved,

  • Analysis of client specifications and transmission to R&D,

  • Drawing up quotations in collaboration with in-house technical departments,

  • Presentation of quotations and negotiation of prices and contracts through to conclusion,

  • Project support,

  • Competitive intelligence and analysis of future market potential,

  • Participation in relevant trade shows and exhibitions in the region,

  • Continuous exchange with the HQ sales management with regular activity reports.

You will be integrated into a sales team composed by 7 people.

You will benefit from several weeks' training at our head office in CHOLET (49, France), and then receive regular support from the Export Manager, Product Manager and Sales Director.

Profil

THE PROFILE

Trainings & experiences

  • You have a full technical training (electronics, IT or similar), or commercial training with a strong technical affinity.

  • You dispose relevant experience in selling systems or components in the field of building technology.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, lead generation, and closing deals. (Very commercial and communication skills for confident and convincing customer relations.)

  • A self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

    (Independent, goal-oriented way of working).

Travel

  • Willingness to travel locally (Germany)

Languages

  • Native German (written & spoken)

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (written & spoken)

  • Knowledge of the French language would be beneficial.
