Mission
You will be part of the Customer Support department for the Wide Areas Surveillance (WAS) product line, which includes infrared panoramic surveillance cameras (Spynel) for civil security and defense.
You will be involved in pre- and post-sales support for our solutions offered to customers in the Middle East region.
More specifically:
From Abu Dhabi, you will work in a team with the Area Sales Manager (based in Abu Dhabi).
You will play an active role in organizing and carrying out pre-sales demonstrations in the Middle East region.
Working with local technical partners, you will carry out first-level local maintenance on equipment already deployed in the region.
Working with head office teams, you will take part in the acceptance of equipment for our customers.
On the customer's site, you will then deploy the equipment and carry out the necessary settings;
You will then train users on the products (software, hardware, day-to-day maintenance), to ensure they get the most out of them;
You provide technical support in the event of hardware failure, either remotely or on site;
As part of the development of our new service offering, you will monitor existing products to ensure an optimum level of service (checking equipment on customer sites, planning and monitoring after-sales returns, software updates, training new users, etc.).
On arrival, you will follow a structured training course on our products, processes and applications. A training period of several weeks at headquarters will be scheduled before deployment in Abu Dhabi.
In the course of your career, you may have the opportunity to work on the company's other product lines (industrial thermography, electro-optical test equipment).
Profil
With 5 years' higher education (engineer or equivalent) and a generalist background (preferably in mechatronics or electronics), your technical skills will give you a solid foundation for your work.
Knowledge of IT systems and networks would be appreciated.
A high degree of mobility is expected for this position: you will be required to travel throughout the region (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Paksitan... 50% excluding the United Arab Emirates). Fluent English is therefore essential for oral and written communication with your English-speaking customers.
