Missions
POSITION SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Commercial Director in France, the Business Development Manager South-East Asia (SEA) is responsible for implementing the company’s commercial strategy in the region to drive business growth, increase sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.
The Business Development Manager SEA works closely with customers, sales representatives, the Strategic and Technical SEA Poultry Manager, the Business Development Director India, and internal teams to provide technical support, develop business strategies, and execute marketing plans in the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Your primary responsibilities and duties will include but are not limited to,
Develop, implement, and evaluate strategies to meet sales targets and increase market share in the South-East Asia region, including marketing and customer prospection, sales plans, commercial launch plans, registration strategies, and product development strategies.
Distributor management: Conduct continuous business reviews and performance evaluations of distributors and business partners in the territories. Choose new distributors when required. Establish training programs.
Meet key accounts; identify and build relationships with decision-makers in decision-makers in livestock companies (poultry, swine, ruminants).
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and changing customer needs to make informed decisions about business opportunities, working closely with the Sales Director (France), the Senior Strategic and Technical SEA Poultry Manager, the Business Development Director, India, as well as R&D and Product Managers, to ensure that business opportunities are aligned with the company's goals and capabilities.
Analyze sales and marketing data and report on the success of business development activities to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for future growth.
Build strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure repeat business and growth opportunities. This includes networking, attending industry events and conferences, and maintaining communication with key stakeholders.
Identify and build relationships with key influencers in the regions among KOLs, administrators, professional groups, other decision makers and their management.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and partners, ensuring that the company achieves profitable business deals.
Ensure that business development efforts in all regions comply with local, national, and international regulations governing the use and sale of ELISA and PCR diagnostic products in the animal health industry.
Assist clients in the use of Innovative Diagnostics products, and in the interpretation of results obtained with Innovative Diagnostics tests.
Take appropriate troubleshooting steps to rapidly resolve any technical problems clients may encounter.
Organize validation studies including Innovative Diagnostics products in clients’ laboratories.
Profil
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :
The following are the qualifications that an individual needs to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.
Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine, life science, agriculture economics or similar.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the veterinary sector in South-East Asia, dealing with users and end-users of veterinary diagnostics, feed additives, vaccines and hygiene products.
Knowledge in ELISA/PCR testing and their applications.
You have knowledge regarding the use of relevant software, such as CRM systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including presentation skills.
You are internationally oriented and willing to travel circa 50%.
