Mission
General Context
As part of the C&P prototyping and HIL validation group, we are recruiting a Research Engineer - Real-time simulation of HVDC networks to strengthen our teams. Your role is to participate in the activities of the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test platform through technical improvement and operational activities.
SuperGrid Institute is currently involved in several European projects. The candidate will therefore be involved in the HIL validation of DC Grid Control in InterOPERA project.
Main scope:
To participate to the technical improvement of the real-time simulation laboratory, especially concerning the rapid prototyping and the HIL testing of industrial relays and controllers
To develop and validate DC Grid controls
To coordinate internal and external activities to implement the specified HIL setups
To interact with customers from the pre-sale phase to the delivery
Other scope:
To develop and maintain a control room / SCADA interface for demonstration purposes
To create and maintain a shared competence within the Architecture and System program around communication and telecommunication techniques towards their application to HVDC grid automation, protection and control
When appropriate, to participate to the structuration of the technical and commercial offer
To organize demonstration visits, to publish technical papers, to participate to conferences and events
