Mission

General Context

The Technical Business Developer will join the Architecture and Systems department, which stands out for its innovative work on DC (MTDC) and hybrid AC/DC networks. Within this department, research is carried out in 3 areas:

  • Developing new control and protection concepts dedicated to DC networks, as well as the main specifications for the key components of these systems.

  • Studying and developing solutions for integrating DC technologies into AC networks.

  • Supporting early product development phases in the fields of control and protection.

The Technical Business Developer's mission will therefore be to integrate these initiatives, actively contributing to the promotion of technological advances, commercial prospection and the organization of international collaborations.

Missions

  • Working with the Operations Manager and the "Intellectual Property" department to promote the R&D program.

  • Taking part in events (trade fairs, conferences) to promote solutions, in coordination with the Marketing Manager.

  • Contribute to the sales strategy and carry out prospecting activities with the Business Development team.

  • Leading and coordinating the structuration of collaborative projects with manufacturers and academics, in collaboration with the Operations Manager and the sales team.

  • Manage and promote products, act as Product Manager and test MVPs with the Marketing Manager.

  • Leading and coordinating responses to calls for tender in collaboration with the Operations Manager and the Business Development team. (Coordinating the drafting of technical bids, preparing costings, etc.).

Profil

Profile:

You have an engineering degree or a Master's degree (bac +5) specializing in Electrical Engineering. With a minimum of 5 years' experience in industry, you will have experience of transmission networks, and ideally have knowledge of the HVDC market and products.

  • Experience in project management and/or R&D.

  • Comfortable and ideally experienced in customer relations.

  • Project management and team coordination

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French.

  • Ability to interact in an accessible and understandable way with technical and non-technical people.

  • Strong commercial awareness and sense of customer satisfaction,

  • Organized and rigorous,

  • Team spirit and a sense of collective intelligence.
