Missions

Reporting to the Global Quality Director, the Head of Governance is the architect and owner of the Global Quality Management System, ensuring standardization, compliance, audit readiness, capability building, and the structured deployment of Quality methods across all global sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

QMS Ownership & Global Standardization

  • Own and maintain the global QMS (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22000 as applicable).

  • Standardize key processes: MOC, NC/8D, Plan‑of‑Control, Incoming Inspection, SPC, FMEA, Audit management, Document Control.

Audit & Certification Management

  • Lead internal audit program, certification cycles, and closure of non‑conformities.

  • Ensure annual management review inputs/outputs are globally consistent.

Methodology & Continuous Improvement

  • Own global standard for SPC/FMEA/Control Plans/Standard Work/MDI/Gemba.

  • Provide tools, templates, training, and capability building to all sites.

Data Governance & Reporting

  • Own global taxonomy, KPI dictionary, and master data structures for Quality.

  • Oversee BI/Data Lead for the global cockpit, ensuring one single truth.

Quality Academy & Capability Development

  • Design and deploy Quality training curricula (RCCA, FMEA, SPC, Standards).

  • Develop maturity assessment models for sites and functions

Team Leadership & Delivery

  • Manage a small global governance team (2 FTE) ensuring

  • Clear role definition and priority setting

  • Development of expertise and back-up capability

  • Set objectives, coach and develop team members to grow from expert contributors to global enablers

  • Foster a high standard of rigor, collaboration and continuous improvement within the governance team

Profil

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Leadership & Behavioral Skills

  • Vision‑and‑structure‑driven leader; strong communicator.

  • Ability to drive adoption of standards across cultures and sites.

  • Focused, systematic, highly organized, and rigorous.

  • Talent for simplifying complex systems and making them actionable.

Technical Skills

  • Expert in QMS, auditing, certification standards.

  • Mastery of SPC, FMEA, MSA, QMS architecture, document control systems or at least deep understanding of industrial methods with the ability to arbitrate and standardize practices globally.

  • Strong statistical and process excellence background.

Experience

  • 12+ years in QMS/Quality Excellence roles with multi-site responsibility.

  • Demonstrated experience deploying standards globally.

  • Strong audit leadership experience required.
