Missions

Covivio is looking for an Accounting Manager M/F on permanent contracts for its subsidiary Murdelux. This position is to be filled as soon as possible.

Reporting to the Financial Director of Murdelux, the Accounting Manager is responsible for the accounting and tax monitoring of a portfolio of 45 companies (residential, hotel, and office).

 

Reporting to the Financial Director of Murdelux, your main missions are as follows: 

 

Accounting

  • Carries out the accounting from start to finish and/or convert to LUXGAAP according to Luxembourg standards

  • Processes payments on time, check bank statements and tracks cash flow

  • Keeps proper accounting records and transaction media (renewal of loan contracts, etc.)

  • Writes the accounting memos before encoding

  • Produces the accounting review file sent to the Financial Director

Taxation

  • Makes (quarterly) the calculation of tax provisions

  • Produces quarterly/annual VAT returns

Externally, the Account Manager links with the Luxembourg authorities and service providers. Internally, he/she collaborations with the group's financial functions (accounting, financial control, treasury, taxation).

Profil

  • Bachelor or master’s degree (BAC+3 or BAC+5)

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position or within a Luxembourg fiduciary

  • Strong technical skills in Luxembourg accounting

  • Wants to join a team on a human scale

  • Good understanding of Luxembourg legal and regulatory requirements

  • Recognized for her/his relational qualities and appreciates frequent interactions with various interlocutors

  • Likes to work independently

  • Critical, analytical and synthesis skills

  • Fluent in French and English

  • Proficient in SAP would be a plus.
