    Elyse Energy is seeking a highly motivated In-House Lawyer to join our team. The In-House Lawyer will play a fundamental role in the ongoing success of Elyse Energy, ensuring effective legal management and compliance with regulatory requirements while contributing to sustainable development and European energy independence. Reporting to the Development Director for Spain and Portugal, the In-House Lawyer will be responsible for the legal and administrative aspects of Elyse Energy Iberica.

    • Comprehensive Legal Management: Oversee and manage all legal aspects related to the operations of Elyse Energy Iberica, ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating legal risks.

    • Contracting and Document Review: Coordinate the review and drafting of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with legal and business requirements.

    • Legal Advisory: Provide strategic legal advice to various departments of the company, addressing complex legal issues and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date records and necessary documentation.

    • Legal support to the technical team during contract negotiations with third parties.

    • Liaison with external law firms used as support for specific issues such as the electricity market and EPC contract negotiations.

    Profil

    • University Degree in Administrative Law with experience in processing substantive and environmental procedures for renewable energies, energy infrastructures, and industrial plants.

    • Legal Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience as a lawyer.

    • Specialization in Business Law: Specialization or relevant experience in business law, commercial contracts, and corporate transactions is valued.

    • Knowledge of Legal Framework: Extensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the business and commercial sphere, with a particular focus on renewable energy and sustainability.

    • Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in complex legal negotiations, with a focus on securing favorable agreements for the company.

    • Contract Management: Experience in the review, drafting, and management of commercial contracts and legal agreements.

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    • High level of proficiency in Spanish, English, and proficiency in French will be valued.
