Bio-Logic, a global high-tech company based in Grenoble, France, develops, manufactures and sells analytical measuring instruments in the fields of basic electrochemistry, energy storage and conversion (batteries/fuel cells/supercaps), photovoltaics, corrosion, sensors, electrical Material analysis and Rapid kinetics to customers in research and industrial laboratories The company has experienced steady and strong international growth, generating more than 85% of its turnover from its export activity. Due to continued growth, we, the German subsidiary Bio-Logic Science Instruments GmbH, are looking for a support technician (m/f/d) to strengthen our 8-member team in Göttingen.
Mission
Your tasks:
Product categories to be supported: potentiostats/galvanostats, battery cyclers, impedance analyzers, scanning systems and accessories for all previously mentioned areas
Processing of technical support requests from sales and directly from the customer (via the website, e-mail, telephone or video conferencing) with a focus on
Support in dealing with hardware
Software Support
Troubleshooting/optimization of experimental setups
in close cooperation with the German and French colleagues (sales managers, support engineers, application engineers, product managers)
• Tracking of support requests in the ITS (incident ticket system)
• Remote or on-site diagnosis of necessary repairs
• Carrying out repairs on electronic components, soldering circuit boards, tracking the required working time
• Coordination of returns between the customer and production in France for successful repair processing and tracking
• Creation of service offers in CRM
• Processing of frequent support cases in the form of technical documentation/videos (Application Notes/Technical Notes) in German/English
After successful training:
Calibration/repair work
Troubleshooting complex experimental setups
Occasional travel in Germany/Austria/Switzerland
Profil
Your profile:
You have a completed apprenticeship and experience with hardware of laboratory equipment (measurement technology), software/firmware management
Technical understanding and manual skills in the repair of electronic components (printed circuit boards, installation and removal of components in the equipment
Fluent German and good English skills, French is not a must but an advantage
You like to solve complex problems in the interaction of hardware/software/application
Good PC skills (at least: MS Office, MS Teams, ITS, CRM) and interest in acquiring new ones (operating software of our devices)
You learn quickly and can develop targeted and systematic customer solutions. You can improvise and thanks to your excellent trouble-shooting skills and technical curiosity, you can quickly find your way into new and complex contexts and ask for the necessary information to identify the problem
