BioLogic, a global high-tech company based in Grenoble, France, develops, manufactures and distributes high-precision analytical measuring instruments in the fields of basic electrochemistry, energy storage and conversion (batteries/fuel cells/supercaps), photovoltaics, corrosion, sensors, electrical material testing and rapid kinetics to customers in research and industrial laboratories. The company is experiencing steady and strong international growth and generates more than 85% of its turnover from its export activities.  Due to continued growth, we, the India subsidiary BioLogic, are looking for a Service & Sales Suport Engineer (m/f/d).

Mission

To support our business growth in Eastern part of India, we are looking for a Service & Support Engineer who can provide technical service support to our customers in the region.

Reporting to: Area Sales-in-charge & National Support Manager

Location: Bhubaneswar

Your Duties Include:

·         Acquire an excellent understanding of our products and its applications

·         Perform Instrument installations, service activities and preventive maintenance as required along with accompanying documentation and reports

·         Take ownership to resolve and/or escalate customer issues and complaints and provide onsite or remote technical support as per client requirements

·         Perform and document the installation and operational qualifications of all new instruments

·         Resolve instrumentation issues through hardware and software troubleshooting

·         Manage communications (email and telephone) with customers to ensure issue resolution and proper follow-up, to assure customer satisfaction

·         Communicate effectively with customers and build strong relationships with them

·         Support sales effort for the region by working in coordination with sales manager and head office

·         Perform product demonstration for customers as required in coordination with Area Sales-in-charge

·         Maintain records of installation and service activity details in service register & installation certificates

·         Prepare and submit reports on customer facing activities to the management in prescribed formats

·         Work in coordination with the team and actively participates in team meetings

Profil

Requirements:

·         Experience: Minimum 1 - 3 years or above in Institutional sales and service, Industries, R&D Centres

·         Education: B.E / B.Tech. in Electrical or Electronics; MSc. Chemistry, Physics, Electronics

·         Language: Compulsory: English, Hindi; Preferred: Odia

·         Travel required – up to 75%

·         Excellent communication and organizational skills

·         Ability to learn and pick-up troubleshooting skills quickly and can handle service issues independently

 

Preferred:

·         Knowledge of Electrochemistry, Battery Testing, Solar and other non-conventional technologies

·         Basic knowledge in MS Office, including Word, Power Point, Excel

 

Skills:

·         Troubleshooting and tracking instrument issues

·         Problem solving & analytical mindset

·         Ability to build relationships

·         Proactive and has an eye for details
