Missions
To support our business growth in North India, we are looking for a Senior service engineer who can provide technical service and application support to our customers and also complement sales efforts.
Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Perform Instrument installations, calibration, service and preventive maintenance as required along with accompanying documentation and reports.
• Take ownership to resolve or escalate customer issues and complaints and provide ongoing onsite or remote technical support as per client requirements.
• Perform application support tasks for the range of our equipment and be agile in your service response.
• Perform and document the installation and operational qualifications of all new instruments.
• Resolve instrumentation issues through hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Liaise with local vendors as required to deliver local accessories.
• Manage communications (email and telephone) with customers to ensure issue resolution and proper follow-up, to assure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with customers and build strong relationships with them.
• Complement sales effort for the region by working in coordination with sales manager and head office.
• Develop interest of customers in our equipment, identify business opportunities and recommend solutions.
• Engage in cold calling and visits to potential customers to identify business opportunities.
• Maintain customer/prospect database and activity details.
• Prepare and submit reports on customer facing activities to the management in prescribed formats.
• Work in coordination with the team and actively participates in team meetings.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Profil
Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience Institutional sales and service, Industries, R&D Centres
• Proficiency in the area of analytical instruments, preferably related to electrochemistry and battery testing.
• Education: B.E / B.Tech. in Electrical or Electronics; MSc. Chemistry, Physics, Electronics; Any specialization in Electrochemistry
• Language: Fluency in both English and Hindi is mandatory
• Travel required – up to 75%
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to learn troubleshooting skills quickly and can handle service issues independently.
• Ability to drive a sales and cold calling / visits to customers.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of Electrochemistry, Battery Testing, Solar and other non-conventional technologies
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Power Point, Excel
• Ability to create and deliver presentations.
