Mission

As part of a strong increase in activity, we are strengthening our Research & Development department and are looking for an Hardware / Software Project Manager (M/F), who will join the Project Management Office.

Reporting to the Project Management Officer, the Project Manager is responsible for managing integrated products within agreed time, cost and quality targets. He/she steers, coordinates and plans the projects assigned to him/her. He/she is also the guarantor of customer satisfaction and the expert in the project management process at Focal and Naim.

The Project Manager will lead the Project Team that aims at developping ambitious and game changer products.

Working place:

In order to reinforce the collaboration between Focal and Naim, we intend that the Project Manager makes the link between Naim Programming Team in Salisbury (UK) and other Project Team members in Saint Etienne (FR). Relatively frequent travels are required (about 1 per month).

Your main tasks will be as follows:

  • Define and secure the achievement of project objectives;

  • Structure, plan and manage projects, and obtain deliverables while respecting quality, schedules, budgets and the project process;

  • Challenge the programming teams and federate to obtain the best compromise for the best product;

  • Produce and communicate regular reports on project progress to steering bodies;

  • Identify and manage project risks, and escalate problem areas to the PMO;

  • Ensure a good communication among the Project Team members.

Profil

Your profile:

  • You are an acknowledged leader and you are keen on taking on challenges

  • You have a 1st experience as Project Leader

  • You have software / hardware / apps skills

  • You know some Project Management tools and you have some knowledge about new Project Management methods

  • You are positive minded and you like technological challenges
