Missions
The candidate will be expected to lead the following workstreams:
Manage the development, procurement, construction and operation and maintenance of renewable energy projects;
Produce reports and memorandums to synthetize results and help management decisions;
Oversight and supporting the delivery of EPC and O&M services according to the contract requirements;
Supervise the development activities (land acquisition, permitting, etc) carried out by local partners for existing onshore wind projects and potentially new solar PV projects;
Help originate and lead analysis of development or investment opportunities in renewable energy projects;
Engage with stakeholders, planning authorities, project owners, land owners, local community etc;
Leading or support the PV and wind EPC procurement processes including both EPC and O&M contracts negotiation;
Leading the RfP process for selection of technical advisors and other technical consultants (grid, Geotech, topography, flood, etc);
Coordinate and report effectively with Management and technical teams overseas. - Support the estimation and benchmarking database for key development pricing works;
Manage the interface between engineering and procurement activities. - Successfully deliver developments to plan; meeting CAPEX, schedule, health, safety and environmental objectives;
Monitor the project management processes and procedures including:
project management plans
cost control
schedule
risk registers
site policies and procedures
project programs and schedules
documentation control
Ensure that the delivery of the development activities complies with all commercial, legal and health, safety and environmental requirements;
Prepare and present project progress and financial status reports for senior management.
Profil
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in energy project development and construction management;
Engineering degree from an internationally reputable university;
Methodological, process and detail oriented; ability to conceive and implement methodology and processes;
Team player but also have the confidence to work on his/her own on a wide range of tasks and projects;
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
Able to travel to the sites when required;
Able to be based on site during critical construction phase;
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Korean.
