Luxempart (‘LXP’) is a pan-European private-equity firm managing €2.5bn of capital out of our offices in Luxembourg, Paris, and Munich.

LXP is structured around three core teams:

  • Private Equity team (‘Direct Investment team’): our team, focused on majority and significant minority investments in European companies

  • Funds team: investing in private equity funds

  • Corporate team: functional professionals in Finance, Legal & Compliance, HR, Communications, IT and Operations

Total of 30 employees, of which 19 investment professionals

The LXP Private Equity team acquires majority and large minority stakes in Europe-based companies that require an equity investment of €25m to €100m. We are active investors and support founders and managers in their next phase of growth.

Missions

Based in Luxembourg, you will join the French PE team (which is split across Luxembourg and Paris), focusing on originating and executing deals in France.

You will be expected to work autonomously and demonstrate a fast-learning attitude. You will engage in a wide variety of tasks including:

  • Assisting the investment team with the analysis of potential investments: strategic analysis on markets, companies and competitors (using Capital IQ, Expert Networks, MergerMarket, AlphaSense, and other tools)

  • Contributing to all stages of the investment process, including drafting memos, building financial and valuation models, and supporting due diligence

  • Supporting the team in the monitoring and value creation initiatives for our current portfolio companies

Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a top-tier business school or engineering school

  • Minimum of one meaningful previous experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Transaction Services, or Strategy Consulting

  • Native French speaker with excellent command of English

  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills. Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly. Ability to work independently and take ownership on your projects
