    We are looking for our future Project & Event Manager

    Mission

    We are looking for a Project & Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of events. This role requires managing complex event logistics, maintaining strong relationships with partners and third-party organizers, and working effectively in a project-based environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible, autonomous, and highly organized. Fluency in both French and English is essential, as the position involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders in a bilingual environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    As a Project & Event Manager, you will work closely with our Content Manager and be responsible for various aspects of event planning and project management, including:

    • Liaising with Event Organizers: Establish and maintain communication with event organizers, ensuring alignment on goals and logistics.

    • Event Milestone Tracking: Monitor and manage key milestones leading up to events, ensuring deadlines are met.

    • Monitoring Budget : You will oversee the budget related to events/marketing under the supervision of our Marketing Director.

    • Participant Coordination: Engage and mobilize internal and external participants, including speakers, attendees, and partners.

    • Order Management: Initiate and track orders for event materials such as furniture rentals, promotional items (goodies), and visual elements.

    • Webinar Setup: Organize and implement necessary tools for successful webinar hosting (platform setup, technical needs, etc.).

    • Communication Plan Development: Create and execute a comprehensive communication plan for each event to maximize reach and engagement.

    • Website Updates: Ensure the company website is regularly updated with upcoming event details and relevant information.

    • Internal Event Communication: Inform internal teams about upcoming events and their roles through regular updates and communications.

     

    Travel to occasional events to be planned based on activity.

    Profil

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Proven experience in event planning and project management, with a track record of successfully coordinating events from concept to execution.

    • Bilingual in French (native or fluent) and English (professional level).

    • Very good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to coordinate with various stakeholders.

    • Team player

    • Strong ability to work independently, while maintaining collaboration with cross-functional teams.

    • Experience working with event management software and webinar tools.

    • Knowledge of logistics management for events (vendor management, materials procurement).

    • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) for website updates.
