    About the role

    We are looking for a Implementation Engineer intern to join our fast-growing international Fintech team in Paris to help us deploy our big data solution at financial institutions. You will have the following responsibilities:

    • Installation and maintenance of Opensee software:  

      • Opensee solution is an aggregation of multiple components. You will be installing and maintaining the solution on client/internal infrastructure at multiple stages of the sales process (POC / Test / Production) . Clients could use bare metal servers, VMs or cloud services (azure, gcloud, aws), and you must be able (with the help of the team and our experience) to adapt to the chosen solution. 

    • Data Pipeline Management:

      • Assist in the maintenance of data pipelines that support the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data.

      • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely and accurate data flow.

    • Database Administration:

      • Support database administrators in managing and maintaining databases used by the SaaS platform.

      • Perform routine database tasks such as backups, updates, and optimizations.

    • Data Quality Assurance:

      • Execute data quality checks and validations.

      • Identify and rectify data quality issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

    • Monitoring and Reporting:

      • Utilize monitoring tools to track system performance and proactively address potential issues.

      • Generate and share reports on data operations metrics, highlighting areas for improvement.

    • Collaboration:

      • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data analysts, and product managers, to understand data requirements and provide necessary support.

      • Assist in documenting data processes, configurations, and best practices.

    Profil

    About you

    Technical Skill

    • Experience with Bash/Linux system.

    • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL).

    • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization.

    • Experience with Docker / Kubernetes.

    • Understanding of databases, data structures, and ETL processes.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

    Prior experience: Ops / DevOps experience (on-premise or on cloud) a plus.

    Curriculum: You hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or similar subjects

    Language skills: Fluent in English both written and verbal, French is a plus
