Missions
Who are we looking for ? ✏️
The sales team is looking for a team-minded individual to join UTMB Group as Senior Sponsoring Business Developer. You will be responsible for driving the growth of the UTMB World Series’ sponsorship revenue.
As a Senior Sponsoring Business Developer, you will report directly to the Head of Sales. In time, you will manage the Junior Sponsoring Business Developer.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
Business Development:
Identify and coordinate potential leads.
Engage international brands aligned with the UTMB World's vision to develop strategic partnerships across the global Series.
Understand partners' business and marketing challenges to propose the best use of UTMB World Series’ partnership platform.
Contribute to negotiations with a long-term mindset.
Ensure a structured, performance-driven pipeline.
Lead negotiations with B2B C-level stakeholders.
Coordination:
Draw on recommendations from the Business Intelligence team to structure the commercial approach category by category, brand by brand.
Collaborate with the Global Partnerships team to facilitate the implementation of partnerships under discussion and through to signing.
Work closely with our shareholders’ team.
Steering & Reporting:
Produce analyses on prospected categories and contacted brands.
Monitor commercial KPIs.
Keep the pipeline up to date via HubSpot.
Location 📍
We are looking for a candidate based in France or elsewhere in Europe.
If you're based in France, a minimum 50% onsite presence in our Chamonix-Mont-Blanc or Annecy offices is expected.
If you're based elsewhere in Europe, we'll expect you to join us in our Chamonix-Mont-Blanc offices once a month.
Profil
Background & Skills
Master's degree from a business school, in marketing, sports management, or equivalent.
7 to 10 years of experience in sponsorship, agency, media, events, or business development.
Technical Knowledge & Skills:
Strong commercial drive and a genuine appetite for prospecting.
Good understanding of brand challenges and the world of sport and outdoor.
Command of premium sponsorship codes and standards.
Comfortable with HubSpot CRM and Excel.
Professional-level English is essential; Mandarin is a bonus.

Entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach.

Ability to work within a team and cross-functionally.
